Another Southern Girl
I love not wrapping gifts in a bag or box. I don't know if it has something to do with not liking to be "put in a box" or "confined to a box" but it just has never really been my thing. I like to get creative with wrapping. For this baby shower, I decided to use the fun bunny pillow as the main part of the gift wrap, and placed everything that was gifted on top... but then what? Well, I just so happened to have some tulle and silk flowers around that could wrap around it all and it was perfect.
Yes, it leaves little to the imagination when it comes to the unwrapping process, but there are still some surprises inside to unwrap, but momma has less (or the person who is throwing the party for the momma to be) to throw away at the end of the party.
With covid, I have had a hard time thinking up creative ways to wrap gifts; I have 2 co-workers that are pregnant and due at the end of of August/beginning of September and we are getting ready to do a virtual baby shower. I don't know if that is really the best term, since it is allowing the momma's to be showered with gifts, so that part isn't virtual, it just doesn't have us together, which I guess is the virtual part.
My favorite thing is gifting, or the art of gifting, but covid has even made that difficult. Do you have someone you have to gift for? If you would like to have something this giftable, I would happily allow you to hire me for it!
