Mud Pie's in the Kitchen
I have an new-ish obsession, Mud Pies! No, not the actual pie, but the company that makes kitchen items more fun! I came across their stuff a couple years ago when I went to Waco at The Findery; they had serving spoons to label salsas as "hot stuff" & "mild mannered." Since then, I have spotted their items at some more local locations, like RTC (Roanoke Trading Company).
Prior to covid shutting down shopping, RTC was already scheduled to move locations, and starting to sell through items, and looking back, I should have pulled the trigger on a couple of these. They further "pivoted," which has become a very overused word for adjusted, their selling strategy, and I think they did a good job with it. They were selling from posts & stories on social media and quickly creating a purchasable website (link below). There are times where I would venture into RTC on a mission, but most was to browse, and almost always I would find things that I didn't even know I needed.
Since they RTC has been closed, I might have found a new obsession in online window shopping. No matter your needs, they might have just what you are looking for! Check out some of the fun things I have found there below. Now who is ready to throw a party?
